What happens when I book an inspection?
Call 027 202 4496 or use the Email a Request button and give us the address and what you need. We arrange and complete the inspection, most within 24 hours of booking, then send a plain-English report within 24 hours of the inspection and book a phone call to talk you through the results.
How quickly will I get my report?
Within 24 hours of the inspection.
Which areas do you cover?
Greater Auckland (Central, East, South, Takanini and Papakura, Franklin, North Shore, West, North-west and Rodney) and North Waikato. We are based in Papakura.
What do inspections cost?
Prices start from $150 + GST for a Healthy Homes inspection and $550 + GST for a Standard House Inspection, which includes thermal imaging. See the Inspections page for the full list.
What standard do your inspections follow?
Our inspections are carried out to NZS 4306, the New Zealand standard for residential property inspection.
Who do you work with?
Home buyers, real estate agents and mortgage brokers, plus property owners who need maintenance work assessed.
Do you do pre-purchase inspections?
Yes. A pre-purchase inspection helps you understand a building's condition before you commit, and the report explains what matters and what to do next.
Do you do pre-sale inspections?
Yes. Sellers and agents can book a pre-sale report at the same price as a standard report.
Is thermal imaging included?
Yes, thermal imaging is included in the Standard House Inspection. It points to areas worth checking, such as heat loss, missing insulation and possible moisture, and findings are followed up with moisture readings and professional judgement.
Do you carry out Healthy Homes inspections?
Yes. We inspect rental properties against the Healthy Homes standards, starting from $150 + GST.
Do you do weathertightness inspections?
No, we do not carry out weathertightness inspections. We do look at cladding as part of a general building inspection and will tell you about any concerns we can see.
Can you also carry out the work?
Yes. We offer property maintenance and renovations, so inspection findings can lead straight to a plan.

What are your hours?
Monday to Friday, 7am to 6pm. Weekends by appointment.
